About LMSB Consulting
Building healthier workplaces through compassion, research, and genuine care for people.
My Story
LMSB Consulting was founded on a simple but powerful belief: when employees and organizations are healthy, the organization will exceed business expectations and achieve goals that would otherwise be impossible to reach. I’ve seen firsthand through my doctoral research and extensive work experience how workplace bullying, incivility, and unhealthy cultures damage individuals, teams, and entire organizations. I’ve also witnessed the transformative power of creating positive, collaborative work environments.
With 12 years of managerial experience in Fortune 500 companies, experience as an executive recruiter, and 22 years of teaching at the college and university levels, I bring both practical business acumen and academic rigor to every engagement. My background in engineering, manufacturing, and executive recruiting, combined with my advanced degrees in organizational leadership, human resources, and employment law, gives me a unique perspective on workplace dynamics and talent management.
“My mission is to help individuals and organizations reach their fullest potential while creating positive workplace interactions.”
LMSB Consulting builds on all of the knowledge and expertise I’ve gained through my extensive work experience and in-depth doctoral research. In my books—In Darkness Light Dawns: Exposing Workplace Bullying, Hope for a Healthy Workplace, and the co-authored memoir They Said No: The Four-Decade Fight to Open Boardroom Doors—I explain how to motivate employees to excel while creating positive, collaborative work environments and address the challenges of workplace bullying and resistance to DEI initiatives.
I’m passionate about helping others discover their personal worth and purpose in life. My approach combines evidence-based practices with genuine compassion, humor, and sincerity. I understand that workplace issues involve real people with complex emotions and genuine concerns, and I navigate these complexities with empathy, patience, and unwavering ethical standards.
